Fluidsimulation
Fluidsimulations are long established in the catalogue of CAE methods. With several applications however, there are critical disadvantages of common methods. algorithmica technologies has developed a new method over years that makes simulations more flexible, faster and more realistic: We simulate the fluid as a set of mutually interacting particles.
Under the name Fluidator, algorithmica technologies developed a product that actively uses these advantages. Current applications include:
- Prediction of air drag coefficients for vehicles
- Thermodynamics of the Ariane rocket
