Many errors in a finished sintered part have its origins in the powder injection moulding process much earlier in the process but can only be observed after the sintering step.
Using a cycle-synchronous analysis of the powder injection moulding process, we make quality statements about the parts while they are being moulded and before they will enter the expensive treatment process. This saves electricity, time and materials and thus improves the efficiency of the entire moulding procedure.
We have partnered with Fraunhofer IFAM to do this.
